Blue
Donkey's MD Wins Top Regional Award
It's
back to business as usual this morning for Sureya
Landini, Managing Director of Blue Donkey Limited
in Soham and clearly Friday, 13th has not brought
bad luck for her. On the contrary, last night
while coincidentally seated at table number 13, Sureya
was recognised as a leading entrepreneur of the region,
scooping the East of England, Businesswoman of the
year 2003, Enterprise Award.
| The
prestigious award was launched in 1989 by the
Cambridge Businesswoman's Network. It was established
in recognition of the enormous potential offered
by women in the region and as encouragement for
others.Eligibility for entry for the Enterprise
Award is restricted to those women, who have established
their own companies with an annual turnover of
at least £250,000. Two judges from the Institute
of Directors, regional branch, visited Blue Donkey's
offices in Soham just before Christmas as the
final part of the judging process. |
